Marlene was born and raised in Onrusrivier and matriculated at Overberg Caledon High School. Since early childhood, her family enjoyed spending holidays in the beautiful town of Jongensfontein. In 2003 she moved here permanently. After 39 years in the banking industry, it was time for a change.

She is a hardworking, loyal person, with a lot of pride in her work. She will always go the extra mile and loves working with people. The sea, with its crashing waves has a calming effect on her. “When I look at it, I see a new painting every single day.” She used to love going fishing and remains in awe of all the interesting sea creatures, situated along the coastline.

Aletta van Rooyen was born in Riversdal and currently resides in Albertinia. She completed her schooling at Gerrit du Plessis High School in Riversdale. She started working at Little Rock in December 2016. Her passion for her works stems from always wanting everything to be neat and clean. Teamwork is one of her top priorities. She enjoys the calmness of the sea and loves the sound of crashing waves. Sunrise over the sea is her favourite time of day.
